StartUp Elective for 2019 NITIE Students

STARTUP ELECTIVE FOR NITIE STUDENTS  2019

- Purpose of this Elective

Not to Make any  of the students..  ENTERPRENEURs ! Yes.. the intention of the course is not to turn out nitie students as entrepreneurs ! If they want to it is their choice.. in due course, in the long horizon..

But surely the course objective is to make most students to expose to enterprising as an experiment. This experiment will be very very tiny, short and tiny enterprising experiments as part of the course. Our experience is that such experiments can be used as good learning experiences for the students .

Not to make students to sacrifice their BEST PLacement !

Yes.. the intention is to help the student  actively and vigorously to make use of their enterprise experiments TO GET BEST ? HIGH / PLUS 10 Lakhs PLACEMENTs at NITIE !

This course believes that enterprising is the best way to enhance the placement chances for the students. Best of the companies try to make use of enterprising to offer best placements . You must have seen most of the companies make seek ENTERPRISING  / INNOVATIVE students as their employees !

- Strategy of the Elective

Not to Make students work hard !  But to  make them to work SMART !

Not to WASTE the students work that went in two years study at nitie !  But to  make VALUE out of the academic labour that the students pour into the academic studies !

Try to make use of the various projects done ( Summer , Winter, Weekend, and Final ) as part of enterprising. This similar to ..

-  Parallel Battery connection.. Batteries are connected in such a way that light is more !
- Double barrel phenomena in Chess !

This can be effected through aligning and brining together various projects done in a typical academic course under one umbrella i.e., Student Startup .. This will lead to combined effect much more than many individual, separate and isolated projects being done !

This course takes and implement such a approach !

- Coverage for the course

There is no new coverage.. There is no topics to be covered.. There is no content to be covered..!

This elective is all about HOW  to Learn and Much less about WHAT to learn !

This  course believes that WHAT ALL  one need to learn is all ready learned long  academic tenure of 15 yrs, more than needed !  Reality is that, not even a fraction  ( 1/ 12  part )  of it is not  IMPLEMENTED in all these years !

This course try to encourage and show the path for the students to implement a minimum of 1/ 12  of what all is one  learned in all these years and  implement the same  !

Implementation  of what all is learned   will be the motto of this course.  The course is designed / planned in such a way that atleast 1/ 12 of the cost of learning is recovered in this course .

This is called Productive Practice !   How to WASTE NOT  is made to be learnt in such a that the Learning method used is NO -  WASTE METHOD of LEARNING !

- Mode / Method of course delivery

No teaching; but PRACTICING , WORKING and CREATING and PRODUCING VALUE !

- Desired engagement of students

Voluntary, and Elective... Not forced on.... Only those who work will be given BEST grade !
